All Fifth Graders are eligible to participate in the 22-23 Oak Street Tiger Chorus! Chorus is an after school program where 5th grade students will hone their singing skills in an ensemble. We will learn a variety of songs that everyone should enjoy.
Here is some general information you need to know about chorus this year.
1. Chorus rehearsals will be held weekly on Mondays from 4-4:50. Students will come to the music room after dismissal.
2. Sign-ups are open from now to Friday September 16th.
3. The first rehearsal will be Monday September 19th.

1. Electrify Your Choir: Thursday December 1st-Friday December 2nd.
Last year Ms. Guimaraes, Ms. Carpel and myself won an FCEF Super Grant to host Electrify Your Choir here in Falls Church. As a choral department, we are thrilled to have professionals work with our students to put on a joint concert between Mount Daniel, Oak Street and MEH. This event will take place Thursday December 1st-Friday December 2nd. We are finalizing the logistics and you will hear more information if your student decides to join the chorus!

2. Winter Band/Chorus Concert: Tuesday December 13th, 6:30 p.m. in the OS Gym
3. Spring Art Show and Chorus Concert: Wednesday April 26th, 6 p.m. in the OS Gym
As we get further into the school year, there will be more opportunities for students to sing. Stay tuned!
