The City of Falls Church is rebuilding the bridge on Sherrow Ave over Tripps Run. This bridge is near the intersection of W. Cameron Road, Seaton Lane, and Sherrow Avenue. It is part of a key route for Oak Street Elementary staff and families.

This is a busy area for cars, pedestrians, and bikers to and from Oak Street Elementary School.

The road will be closed to motorized vehicle traffic from mid-August 2026 through early June 2027. Detour signs will be displayed prominently throughout the neighborhood.

Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians, bike riders, and scooter riders.
