Eighteen students represented Thomas Jefferson at Science Olympiad at Rachel Carson Middle School in Herndon on Sat, 11/23.
Students squared off against teams from 18 other elementary schools from around the region as part of a competition that tests students’ understanding of a range of scientific disciplines through tests of knowledge and hands-on challenges .
The level of competition was high, and TJ teams placed in several events including Logical Thinking , Parachute Egg Drop, and Cryptology.
