Got core strength? Try a basketball plank as this student did today in PE class

Students in Ms. Hicks' class made dioramas as a reflection on their recent trip to Jamestown. Great talent and creativity! Ms. Hicks was blown away, and so is TJTiger! Maybe I can go next year!

Today is one of the days I absolutely LOVE being next to the music room. Maybe Ms. Reid would like to take a break next hour? 🤣 #fccps #tjtigers

In Ms. Flajser's third grade class, they are building their version of the Great Wall of China. Each brick has a new piece of knowledge we learned about ancient China.

This week in Tech Class, students become the "computer" by following a "program" (written instructions) and generating the data (a symbol or character) to output (a drawing of a turkey) to a device (computer screen.) Happy Thanksgiving! See you next month!

Students in Ms. Mihm's class end their money unit by creating a Thanksgiving menu! Students are great bargain shoppers and I can’t wait to join them for their feast Thursday

Mrs. Schimmoller's
sister and author Sarah Aronson talks to the third grade about the writing process. She read from her latest book just like Rube Goldberg. The student created their own Rube Goldberg machine!

The annual in-house field trip for 5th grade is today as they hear about the history and process of making brass rubbings and then prepare and make their own.

Fifth graders receive book choices for the next fiction unit. Working in groups, the students agree on how to break up the reading and assignments over five weeks. They come together to discuss vocabulary, main events, characters, text connections, and discussion questions.
