Bio: Susan Fertig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Think Happy Live Healthy, located in Falls Church. Susan has experience working with children and adolescents, families, adults, couples, and older adults. She specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life changes and transitions, and communication. Susan completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the College of Charleston, and went on to receive her Master's Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America. Since then, Susan has worked as a therapist in both residential and outpatient community mental health settings, and most recently served as a Program Director for a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program for children and adolescents in Maryland. Susan's practice has focused on helping children and families build skills to help cope with anxiety, grief, trauma, and life changes, and to help strengthen relationships. Susan strives to create a collaborative and welcoming environment using a person-centered approach, and believes in individualizing services to the needs of each client.
