Mornings and afternoons are busy times at Jessie Thackrey Preschool. North Cherry Street is a narrow road, with many residential neighbors and commuter traffic. Sharing the road and taking your time is the key to arrival and departure success. Pedestrians, buses, Kiss & Ride cars, employee cars, and neighborhood traffic are all sharing the same sidewalks and roadways. Everyone needs to be alert and aware. It is our communal responsibility to keep one another safe.

We strongly encourage families to use the bus. If you need to drive, you should park at Falls Church Presbyterian and walk through Grady Park.

Because the Jessie Thackrey Preschool parking lot is small, we have arranged a parking agreement with Falls Church Presbyterian Church, which is on the corner of Fairfax Street & E. Broad Street. Cars can park in the FC Presbyterian lot or along Fairfax Street. Parents and students can walk through Frady Park, to the entrance of Jessie Thackrey Preschool, as shown on the map below.
